The flat straightener:

To remove all imperfections and air bubbles, it is convenient to use a sugar paste straightener. From the simple spatula, to the more sophisticated straightener, there is something for every taste and every wallet.

Personally I opted for the simplest spatula and the cheapest. After that if you do not have this tool, no need to invest, it is also possible to smooth the cake with a small ball of sugar paste in excess that comes to use as a straightener. However I think this tool is really practical, and given the price of the first range, it is quite possible to equip, even if we realize that very little cake in sugar paste.
